Students path to success at Chicago school gains national attention


Students at a unique South Side school are getting a lesson in success.

Sarah Goode Stem academy is being featured in Time magazine.

Goode and three other schools are being touted for their programs. Goode deals with science and technology.

The program is six years and the students graduate with an associate’s degree.

Mayor Emanuel says he is proud of the young innovators and the staff that helps them get there.

The Sarah Goode Academy is funded in part by IBM. IBM hires students and helps with job placement.
